We all dream. We all hope. If we did not; we would wither and die on the vine. Not literally but figuratively. Scripture says that when we lose our vision; we lose our hope. And when we lose hope – we perish!
But here’s the catch. While we dream, we often fail to execute. In other words, we fail to take the necessary steps to make our dreams become reality. There’s something exciting and exhilarating about dreaming. The rubber meets the road when it comes to putting into play what it takes to bring dreams from lofty places to the land of reality!
Eight years ago, I was given a divine command. It was to engage in “online coaching”. Little did I know what that command would entail. Not just simple let’s meet online and help each other! No, it was much much much more than that! Fortunately, PAPA doesn’t always give us the fullness of the vision or we might decide we don’t want divine commands in our lives!
When we realize what we are to do; say “yes” to the dream as it takes root in our hearts and minds, then we step onto a road that takes us in directions we never imagined. And the journey is fun, exciting and exhilarating. Even when we encounter road blocks, detours and other challenges designed to defeat us – or develop us. That choice is ours?
The longer we travel in pursuit of the dream-coming-to-reality; the more we grow personally and professionally. We gain wisdom and insight. We learn new tasks about subjects we never gave thought to in the past. And perhaps the most important aspect of all – we meet new folks along the way. In our case, women we would never otherwise have met, come to know and learn to love! Women who share the same vision – the same passion, and the same determination.
Women for whom the idea of building community is as paramount as building a successful business. Because each of them knows that building community among like-minded women, helping each other grow and become successful in their own way – leads to success for us all!
Let me introduce you to some of those women. Women who have dreams. Women with hope that everything they desire will come to pass. Women who said “yes” to the challenge of building community with us as a team. A team dedicated to women who own small businesses or are a majority or equal partner in a small business. Ordinarily extraordinary women – many for whom their faith is an integral part of their professional lives. Women who otherwise might languish in the shadows wondering if their dreams will ever become reality!
Ashlee Hoppert, owns Chic Boutique. Her passion is family. But she also dreams of having a business she enjoys while being able to do it from home and give extra oomph to family income. She loves jewelry and fashion. Ashlee lives and works in West Virginia.
Barb Sibbing owns MLM Street Smart. Barb’s passion is to coach others in building successful online businesses; especially women in direct sales. She’s talented in web design and building and social media. And she’s organized. Barb lives and works in Indiana.
Charlotte Wienckoski owns STRAPZ. What a unique and interesting passion concept. Charlotte is passionate about helping women become all they are meant to be and knows that fashion plays an important role in how we feel as women. She’s an eager team member who lives and works in Florida.
Evelyn Kalinosky owns Inner Affluence. Evelyn shares our passion for empowering women, especially women in mid-life. Mid-life is a critical time for so many of us and Evelyn is an expert at helping us work through it’s challenges. She comes to us from Kentucky.
Lisa Riedel owns Corky Kouture. Lisa is a dynamic young woman with great creativity. She too shares the passion for making it possible for women to become all they are meant to be. Her business is unique in a fashionable way. Lisa comes to us from the east coast of Florida.
Paola Devescovi owns Project Prosperity. Paola lives in one of the world’s most fascinating cities – Rome, Italy. She speaks several languages and is a woman who shares our passion as well. In fact, she’s revamped her business to work with women 50+ to help them become more successful in business through branding and marketing.
Our magnificent team, though not yet full, are women whose dreams are coming to reality as ours does too. They know what it takes to turn dreams to reality. And they join us as we seek to help each woman who comes to Neighborhood Boutiques bring her dreams to reality as well!
